New Certified Organic Half Chicken for Quick Air Fryer Roasts

There’s nothing quite like a beautifully cooked roast chicken. But when life is busy, sometimes a whole chicken is simply more than you need.

At Inglewood Organic, we know our chickens are on the larger side. Because our chickens are raised to organic standards and live longer than conventional chickens, our whole chickens can be a generous size. While that’s great when you’re feeding a crowd, it’s not always the most practical option for a smaller household or a quick weeknight dinner.

So we thought, why not make things a little easier?

Our new Certified Organic Half Chicken gives you all the things you love about an Inglewood Organic chicken, in a more convenient size.

By cutting the chicken in half for you, there’s no need to wrestle with a whole chicken at home or reach for the kitchen scissors or knife. And with more of the chicken exposed to the heat, it can cook faster and more evenly, making it particularly well suited to the air fryer.

The smaller size also means a smaller price tag. Because you pay for chicken by weight, half a chicken means half the price of a whole one.

And we haven’t forgotten about the skin. We know crispy chicken skin is one of the best parts of a roast, so we’ve left the skin on. If your local supermarket usually has plenty of skinless chicken cuts but you’re craving that golden, crispy finish, this one’s for you.

In short, we made our Half Chicken to make good organic chicken a little easier to enjoy.

It’s smaller, quicker to cook, easier to handle, air fryer friendly and still delivers the tender meat and crispy skin you want from a good roast chicken.

And that’s where it fits into real life: whether you’re cooking dinner for two, looking for a quicker weeknight meal, or simply don’t need a whole chook, there’s now an Inglewood Organic option that fits the occasion.

Organic Chicken Made for Everyday Life

Not every meal needs to feed a crowd. Sometimes you’re cooking for two, the kids are out for the evening, or you simply want a roast chicken dinner without days of leftovers.

Our Certified Organic Half Chicken gives you the flexibility to enjoy roast chicken in a size that suits the occasion. You still get the tender meat and golden skin of a traditional roast, without having to cook a whole chicken every time.

It’s a great option for:

  • Couples and smaller households.
  • Busy weeknights when you want a roast without the long cooking time.
  • Air fryer dinners when a whole chicken won’t fit.
  • When you’re craving crispy roast chicken skin.
  • Those nights when you want something a little more special without making a big fuss.

Perfect for Air Fryer Chicken Dinners

Love your air fryer? Our Half Chicken might just become a new favourite.

Its smaller size makes it a practical option for air fryer cooking, while having more of the chicken exposed to the heat helps it cook faster than a whole chicken. And because we’ve left the skin on, you can enjoy that beautifully golden, crispy finish alongside tender, juicy meat.

The best part? You don’t need an elaborate recipe.

Simply season with salt and pepper, add your favourite herbs and spices, and pop it in the air fryer. Serve with roast potatoes and vegetables, a fresh salad or whatever you have on hand for an easy dinner that still feels like a proper meal.

Just remember to check that the thickest part of the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 75°C before serving.

Prefer a Traditional Oven Roast?

You can still enjoy a classic oven roast with our Half Chicken.

Place it in a roasting dish with your favourite vegetables, add some herbs and seasoning, and let the oven do the work. It’s a lovely option for a midweek roast, a quiet dinner for two or a smaller family meal.

And if crispy chicken skin is your favourite part of a roast, we’ve made sure you don’t miss out. With the skin left on, you can enjoy that golden, roasted finish that’s sometimes harder to find when supermarket chicken cuts are sold skinless.
