Our Farm

Certified Organic
Certified Organic refers to farming practices that adhere to strict national standards aimed at protecting the environment, promoting animal welfare, and producing healthy, natural food. For a farm to earn organic certification, it must pass regular independent audits that ensure it meets these high standards across all operations from soil health to animal care and feed.
At Inglewood Organic, our chickens are raised in full compliance with organic certification standards. They have 24-hour access to open paddocks, where they can roam freely and forage naturally. We don’t take shortcuts—our farming practices prioritise the health and well-being of the animals, the soil, and the land for future generations.
Being certified organic is a commitment to doing things the right way, not the easy way. It means producing food that is not only wholesome and full of flavour but grown with integrity, care, and respect for the environment.
Free Range
At Inglewood Organic, our chickens are raised in the best Free Range conditions you can get, with 24/7 access to large pastures where they can forage naturally. What sets us apart is that our Free Range practices are also Certified Organic, elevating them beyond the basic Free Range label.
Our chickens thrive in open spaces with plenty of room to roam, fed certified organic, non-GMO feed, and cared for with the highest standards of animal welfare. This holistic approach ensures healthier chickens and better meat quality. We ensure every part of our process reflects our commitment to quality and sustainability.
The difference is clear. Inglewood Organic Chicken is Free Range done the Organic way—a combination that guarantees the highest standards of animal welfare, environmental care, and superior quality.

Sustainable
We are committed to farming practices that work with nature to nurture the land, protect ecosystems, and ensure long-term productivity. Sustainable farming requires patience and care, but we believe it’s worth the investment to leave the land better for future generations.
Our practices focus on building a healthy, balanced ecosystem. By rotating crops, composting organic matter, and improving soil structure, we create a resilient foundation that supports plants, animals, and biodiversity. Composting chicken manure and plant material enriches the soil with natural nutrients, reducing waste and fostering healthier crops while enhancing the land’s ability to retain water and prevent erosion.
Sustainability is about more than farming—it’s about regeneration and stewardship. At Inglewood Organic, we are dedicated to doing things the right way, creating a thriving farm that supports the environment today and into the future.
Animal Welfare
At Inglewood Organic, animal welfare is our priority. Our chickens are raised under the highest level of care and comfort thanks to our certified organic standards. We provide them with spacious, uncrowded environments, allowing them to roam freely, forage, and express natural behaviours. This ensures they live healthy, happy lives, which translates to better meat quality.
We maintain low stocking densities, ensuring our chickens are never overcrowded and always have ample room to move. By allowing them to follow natural rhythms with 24-hour access to pasture, we support their physical and mental health. We also avoid artificial lighting and unnecessary medications, letting the chickens live in harmony with their environment. This approach creates a truly humane farming system that prioritises the needs of the animals, ensuring they receive the best care possible.
